First Television Appearance for The Littlest Acorn

Hi Folks,
Being new as a book author (The Littlest Acorn) I don't have experience in marketing and public relations with regard to that whole animal. I have enjoyed my success in the music business and have had the opportunity to play on television, radio, and for large crowds many times. That is all second nature to me, but this book thing has thrown me for a loop. I am not even sure where to start.
Well, good news: I haven't had to really do anything so far exept tell my face book friends that I had a book coming out, and asked them to pre-order. I donated a book to the YWCA, the Wellness Project, and the Free Clinic of SW Washington for every book that was pre-ordered. That was a huge success and I am grateful for all of my wonderful friends that helped me and so many others out in that way.
Now I have been invited to appear on Keep It Local on KOIN channel 6 in Portland Oregon on Jan 4th, 2009 at 4pm to talk about my new book, and I believe I will be able to do a book signing at one of the local book stores in Vancouver or Portland.
So, I will keep you posted as to any other details I might get, and of course how it went afterward. Take care, and thanks for reading my first post here on my new blog. I am new to blogging, so it may be a while before I make it look like anything interesting. (:
